sew, what is the easiest!?
I'm wanting to do a dress. how i how to sew and stuff. I did not sew occasionally ... I was wondering what to be easier to do .. not the fastest to do or anything .. a little less confusing to do so. Both will need to be boning the bodice and correctly for it to stand on its own. The first requires adjustment to correct it look better. The second gives you more room for adjustments. Both will probably need lining for boning to be less visible. And either dress will look wonderful compound. You might consider how you look in the final garment ... the first will accentuate your shoulders and draw attention to the bust ... the second will bring your shoulders close (if you use straps on the shoulders) and, while drawing attention to the bust, the band at the center of the chest area will appear larger than section. The first is less complete in the area of the skirt, making the area below the waist appear smaller. The second one is more comprehensive and will area below the waist seems a little bigger. Both seem to require the same amount of sewing skills, but the second will require building a little more detail. Personally, I like the first best. If you have beautiful shoulders, is the one to go. The lines are clean and fresh.
