Has anyone ever made a sweater from Barbara G. Walker Book Knitting from the top down?
I found this book "Knitting from the top down" at the library. It look like it was pretty easy. As I began to try-out the pattern for a basic raglan sweater I found that it was NOT so easy.
There is lots of measurements adjustments to confront with. I continue to follow "her" instruction to the "T" & believe it or not its appears to be coming out just perfect so far.
Gauge: 4 stitches to an inch & 5 rows to an inch for a size 38 Top Down Raglan Sweater.
Any help out there?
Yes, I have the book and have made a few projects out of it. Everything turned out great, so keep on going, pretty soon it will be finished and you will be amazed! No blocking or sewing up pieces that have stretched. I love this method.
