Do you believe so called ghetto typing is ruining the english language?

That and the so-called "sticky caps" is ruining speech in every way possible. Just to let you know, it isn't just ruining the English language, this kind of typing is ruining other languages too, such as my own (I'm Filipino). They not only type in "sticky caps" (TyPiNg LiKe ThIs) but they also alter the spelling of words.
I can understand if they use shortcuts in texting but if they're just making it longer or if they're using other characters to make their texts look "fancy" then I just find it cheap and stupid. I have a couple of friends who do this. They use the lower case q as lower case g, z's for s's...etc. I hate it.
There's no such thing as ghetto typing (and it sounds kind of derogatory, that's probably why the first guy is saying that you're racist), just ignorance about proper typing etiquette.
