Do not use sewing patterns?
Can I make a dress without sewing pattern? Im making a dress form and style and I can adjust to my size. I was thinking of doing the skirt without cause, but I'd do the corset with a pattern (dress masquerade request) the skirt would be pretty simple with the way I see the dress. But I could drape the material over the dummy and then sew on that basis?
Yes, you can develop a garment by draping and tailoring (if you 've watched Project Runway, you've seen it done). However, the model that you really need to consider using the figure of the person who will wear the garment, something standard dress forms rarely do.
