Where can I find a pattern fro a double breasted women's jacket?
I was hoping for one from a well known pattern company, like McCall's or Simplicity or something simmilar that I could buy from Walmart or a fabric store.
I wanted it to make a military style jacket simmilar to the ones in the movie Sharpe's Rifles, except for a girl to wear.

I'm not really an excessive sewer, although I do know how to use patterns and all, so I'd like something that's not too hard.
So can you suggest any patterns that would work for this?
These aren't double breasted, but you might be able to "fake" them(Butterick #4294 and Butterick 4688). They have the collar you are looking for. Just imagine them in a different fabric. Pull up the Major Pattern company web sites and check out the patterns(ie. www.Butterick.com). I didn't look at the costumes patterns, but there is a good chance they might have something more to your liking.
