Hello everybody! I think to make my own prom dress this year and I need help. I have some questions: * What is the best kind of sewing machine for a beginner? Where can I get one for under $ 50? * Where can I get more formal dress patterns size? * How do I begin to tackle this project? * Do you have any advice for me? I some experience in sewing, but I've never owned a sewing machine. I have not done anything this big before, either. Please help me!
Any kind of sewing machine, as long as it works, of course, do the job. I am an excellent seamstress and sewed exclusively on an old Singer straight point for years, making all my clothes and clothing - as gifts! - For other. So if you want, you can do. And then there are people who can help you "Connection": someone who will help identify and brush [if necessary] even if you dress unfinished about it. You can not. We must start somewhere ~ this is wrong on startup now? You'll have fun! PS An expert sewer as I am, I do not think I've ever done something that I did not have to tear at least one joint and again. Do not get discouraged.
