Wendy Orinoco Son in the United States or an equivalent?
Hello everyone! I just bought a model on ebay for a nice-looking interlaced very cloak knitting for my wife for her birthday. I took a look at the thread recommended on the ground, and it is Wendy Chunky Orinoco son, I did some research and I discovered is a wool / acrylic / alpaca blend. The problem is that I could not find a site that looked as if it sells here in the U.S. of A. good'ol So my question is, does anyone know if this particular son is available in the U.S.? Otherwise, it would comparable substitute? I'm looking for a nice attractive wire that is not too expensive. I am also curious, are the skein (ball) the same size as the United States over the UK. if the pattern calls for 14 balls of the Orinoco, will I still use 14 skeins of any son This chunky Sometimes I use it? Well, there are many son of weight pieces for sale in the U.S., but it depends on the fiber content in what you want you son should get and where you can get it.
