What kind of accessories should I knit, and in this model?
I really want to do something special for my mom for her birthday coming. And I want it to be homemade, and something she can wear. I just learned the basics, such as knitting stitch, purl, seed, jersey, and stuff like that. I do not want is a big project like a sweater (too hard to a beginner like me) or anything too complicated like a glove (ALL finger holes!). I just want to do something straighforward, not curved, crazy fantasy thing. I was thinking maybe a scarf, it's pretty easy, right? But I wanted to know which model would be the best of you think. Is cable? The garter, seed, jersey? Or any other facility, to the point of starting simple that you think should not be too difficult for a person just learn to knit the bases three days ago. And please, I want it to look good, and have at least a little "Fanciness" in it. Thank you!
Why not a felted purse? You can knit these simple (and felting hides a multitude of sins). There are many free templates on the web for them. Choose a color wool and she loves to have fun.
