Can someone explain crochet terms?
I am trying to crochet an Amigurumi Kitten... http://www.crochetkitten.com/files/Virgo_Kitten.pdf Can somebody please explain what "6sc in 2nd ch from hook. 6sc." means? or "sc in ea sc around" ? I don't understand all those abbreviation and I am afraid that I am unfamiliar with crocheting terms in general. My native language is not English. If u have the time, explain as if u had to make a dumb person understand 
It would mean a lot to me if I managed to understand the pattern. I'm trying to make the kitten for a friend of mine... Thx a lot!

I've already made the kitten's head... based on nothing but my sight and intuition. I do not respect the pattern..so I'll be praying to turn out well. :*

The above site has a good teaching section. Go to site,click on learning centre then click learn to crochet.
Another confusion is that English patterns and American patterns use different names for the same stitch. www.yarnforward.com/crochet gives a chart comparing UK/US stitches And another giving the different sizing system for crochet hooks.
www.crochet.org is a US site which tells you how to crochet using US stitch names but has no pictures.
Lionbrand has pictures so I would prefer that one following the instructions for double crochet which is what your patterns mean by the sc abbreviation..
