Knitting Socks : Knitting Socks: Circular Needles

Is it easier to knit socks using circular needles?
Than straight ones?
I prefer using circulars. I have tried the "two socks, two circs" method, and it's much easier than using 4 or 5 DPNs for me. However, the method I use most of the time now is "Magic Loop." I can knit both socks at the same time with either method, and I prefer finishing both at the same time. First, they are absolutely identical, row for row. Second, when they're done, they're done. Third, when I drop a needle, I usually have a good grip on the rest of the project, to which it is firmly attached, and don't spend 20 minutes looking in and under the chair for an elusive DPN.
