Dobbles Craft Designs

My cat goes creeping upon the garden wall,
stalking a bird or mouse
then through the irises, purple and tall,
she wanders back towards the house.
It was not her fortune this early morn
to catch her crafty prey
but cat will not resign forlorn
to sleep through her eventful day.
Not when the children's toys are free
to bat and to attack!
Or my knitting, she looks to see
if my attention it should lack.
O, silly ball of bad, bad string,
she must subdue and make behave!
Away with it with one little fling,
a lesson in tolerance she gave.
Where did you go? O, I now see you!
You disappear like fog
when comes your enemy so true
that poor old chap called dog.

I meant it to be for fun not so much deep.
