Making a baby afghan larger?
I have a pattern for a round beautiful baby afghan. The pattern already calls for worsted weight yarn and size F hook. and the afghan for a baby is suppose to be 42". What should I do to make the afghan bigger? Like maybe double? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
For starters you could use a hook a couple of sizes bigger, I usually use an H hook for worsted weight yarn. Also, you can just continue making rows in the established pattern until it is the size you want.
Without knowing the pattern I can't give specific directions, but it should be easy to add rows, just make sure you make proper increases. Since it's in the round you will need to increase each round, typically, no matter how big the circle, you increase the same number of stitches each row throughout the afghan.
